The objective of our in-house courses is to provide employees with practical, facility-specific training on selected topics and issues relevant to their work. We offer in-house seminars specific to the individual wishes and needs of each facility.
- Pedagogical training (24 hours) for practical instructors (in accordance with § 4 PflBG)
- Care and communication concepts for people with dementia (e.g., ROT, validation, integrative validation (IVA), biographical work, animal-assisted biographical work, milieu design, memory training, 10-minute activation, brain jogging/GeJo, DEMOS, etc.)
- Alternative healing and care methods (compresses/pads, aromatherapy)
- Promotion of movement and mobilization
- Action in emergencies in inpatient and outpatient care
- Current expert standards
- Treatment and care topics (e.g., intramuscular injections, transurethral catheterization, etc.)
- Care and support for people in the final stages of life: death and grief, saying goodbye, developing a culture of farewell
- Special care for patients with specific conditions (e.g., stroke)
- Care and support for people with acute and chronic pain (pain management)
- Measures for maintaining personal health: stress management and coping strategies
- Sexuality in old age, closeness and distance
