INFORMATION
Akademie² offers international applicants the opportunity to pursue nursing training in Germany. We have many years of experience in training and support international trainees throughout the entire recruitment and training process.

Together with our practical training partners, we support trainees from the application process through immigration to successful completion of their respective nursing/healthcare professions.
The integration team, teaching staff, and the entire Akademie² team support international trainees and practice providers (hospitals, outpatient care services, nursing homes) with various support services.

We offer the following modules to meet these needs:

RECRUITING

• Individual consulting for institutions regarding international trainees
• Assistance in filling vacant training positions with international applicants
• Individual consulting for international applicants in personal online interviews
• Assistance in finding a practical training provider
• Assistance with entry (compilation of all required documents, e.g., recognition of school qualifications, etc.)
• Support with visa procedures/work permits through reliable partners in the home countries
• Provision of school and training contracts with our cooperation partners for practical training

ONBOARDING

• Provision of an information brochure with integration guidelines
• "Welcome Day" promoting a welcoming culture at the Akademie² and in the facilities
• Preparatory course before the start of training (raising awareness among international trainees about German culture, important authorities, and legal regulations, etc.)
• Language courses during training at the Akademie²
• Integration assistance (access to clubs, leisure activities, living in Germany, etc.)
• Close cooperation and support with the internship providers in scheduling appointments and correspondence with authorities (regional council, immigration office, Federal Employment Agency, etc.)

INTEGRATION

• Training for internship supervisors on integration and migration (workshops on international competence in practice)
• Support for trainees in the field (assistance with comprehension difficulties due to cultural differences)
• Individual learning opportunities
• Ongoing language courses at the Akademie²
