Training objective

  • Providing expert care to patients during their stay in the surgical department.
  • Preparing for and following up on operations.
  • Assisting with operations (instrumentation and preparation tasks, known as “jumper” tasks).

Admission requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Intermediate school leaving certificate.
  • Or equivalent qualification.

Training duration

  • 3 years 

Theoretical training

  •  2.100 teaching hours in block phases

Practical training

  • 2.500 hours in various surgical disciplines, both on site and at our partner clinics.

With successful completion of the training program and relevant professional experience, there is the opportunity for further qualification, e.g.:
