Supply chain due diligence
Since 01.01.2023, Ortenau Klinikum gKAöR and its affiliated companies - and consequently Akademie für Pflege und Gesundheit Ortenau gGmbH - have been obliged under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) to observe human rights and environmental due diligence obligations along their supply chains and to set up a corresponding complaints procedure. Ortenau Klinikum gKAöR is clearly committed to observing these due diligence obligations by issuing this declaration of principles.

Whistleblower Protection Act
Since July 2023, the Whistleblower Protection Act has offered better protection to whistleblowers. The reporting channels of Ortenau Klinikum gKAöR are available for receiving and processing reports and information in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG). Reports are received by a lawyer who is bound to neutrality.
